Avocado Banana Smoothie
Personally I LOVE avocados. A refrigerator with no avocados is something that MUST be addressed in my house. Similarly I ADORE bananas. I’m rather particular (don’t laugh too hard at this comment if you know me!) about said banana. Not too ripe, but just right, is the way I like it.
Therefore, with the two major ingredients being two of my favorite foods, you can only imagine how much I LOVE this smoothie.
1 cup canned organic unsweetened coconut milk, mixed well
½ cup organic unsweetened almond milk
1 organic avocado – ripe but not overripe.
1 organic banana – ripe
Sweeten to taste using liquid Stevia (Sweetleaf is best), organic honey, or maple syrup. (optional)
2 cups frozen organic strawberries (you could also try raspberries if you prefer them)
Additional ½ cup of organic unsweetened almond milk
2 cups of frozen organic blueberries
Put all ingredients in a high-speed blender and blend until smooth and creamy.
